Reason : Like the story of Adam and Eve, God had told them that they could eat all fruit except for the ones from the forbidden tree. But, after much temptation, Eve was deceived by the serpent into eating fruit from the forbidden tree. Therefore, the apple symbolizes how we should remain faithful in Christ despite all the trials, difficulties and temptations we may face in life. It doesn't mean it will be easy, but with God, all things are possible.
